Chicago Bears’ Soldier Field Goal Net

This net was in use at the last game played at Soldier Field before the renovations began in January 2002. This last game was a divisional playoff game against the Eagles on January 19th, 2002. This was the net in the North End Zone. About 50 foot square, with a lightweight aircraft cable threaded thru the top with an attachment point on each end, could be easily removed if needed. For 15 years, it has been in a plastic tub in a barn belonging to one of our workers in Lowell, Indiana.
