For anyone with fond memories of watching the College World Series over the past few decades like I do, you might feel like something has been missing from the annual championship series for college baseball the past few years.

That something is the charm and history of Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium, which played host to the series from 1950 to 2010 before being replaced by TD Ameritrade Park in 2011. The former largest minor league ballpark in the country was demolished in July 2012, but fortunately remnant of the park are still alive and well around Omaha.

The famed arched Rosenblatt letters that used to be above the scoreboard can be seen along with some of the multi-colored seats at a nearby zoo and Brown Park in South Omaha is home to the original bronze dedication plaque, bleachers and several seats. Multiple locations throughout the region are home to a variety of artifacts, from stadium seats and scoreboards to field lights, batting cages and pitching rubbers.
